Saskatchewan's first Entrepreneur invitation to apply under the entrepreneur program of 2019 took place on January 3.
A total of 90 candidates were invited with scores ranging from 115 to 150 points received through the program pointing system .Saskatchewan's Entrepreneur Category is for eligible candidates who would like to establish, acquire or partner in a business that meets specified provincial criteria.
In order to be eligible, interested immigrant entrepreneurs must first submit an Expression of Interest to the program.
Entrepreneurs who are invited to apply for a letter, and are subsequently approved, can then apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for a temporary work permit . Those who fulfill the terms of their Business Performance for at least six months can then apply to the SINP for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
