Starting December 01, 2020, the Service Canada appointment system for scheduling biometrics appointments will resume service.
This will enable clients of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to book their own biometrics appointments online which should be more efficient.
However, clients who have not yet been contacted should use the online scheduling tool to book their biometrics appointment, as noted in their biometrics instruction letter.
IRCC says in its news release that clients should book their appointment at the Service Canada office closest to them.
Walk-in service is not available so only those with appointments will be able to submit their biometrics at Service Canada locations.
