MPNP conducts new EOI draw for skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 432 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination in an Expression Of Interest in a draw held on September 14, 2018.
The lowest-ranked candidate invited through PNP Skilled worker stream had a score of 721 under the MPNP’s unique points grid.
150 additional invitations were issued to candidates under the overseas skilled worker stream  The lowest-ranked candidate invited through this stream had a score of 604.
Candidates for this stream must have a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education/work experience in Manitoba, and a minimum language proficiency determined by the type of occupation. Work experience must include at least six months of recent work experience in an in demand occupation.
82 candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The Strategic Recruitment Initiative includes overseas recruitment missions where candidates are interviewed by MPNP representatives and those found to be eligible are issued Letters of Advice of Apply. Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP is the first step toward becoming a permanent resident in Manitoba.
