The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued a total of 392 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to skilled workers in the province and overseas in an invitation round that took place on Oct. 01 , 2018.
Of the 392 invitations, 191 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for a provincial nomination went to candidates in the Skilled worker Overseas Stream . Candidates who received an LAA in this invitation round had a minimum score of at least 679 on the MPNP’s assessment grid, which assigns candidates a score out of 1,000 based on answers provided in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.
A total of 201 LAAs also were issued to Manitoba EOI pool candidates through the skilled worker in Manitoba stream , who have a close relative in the province, past Manitoba education or work experience, a minimum six months of recent experience in a Manitoba in Demand occupation, or the minimum language proficiency required based on occupation. The lowest-ranked candidate with these specifications had a score of 592.
