Quebec's immigration department will cap family sponsorship applications until June 25, 2026.
Application Caps

- 2,600: Parents, grandparents, or other eligible relatives.
Exemptions
- Dependent minor children of the sponsor
- Minor children intended for adoption
- Orphaned minor children of the sponsor’s sibling or grandchild
- Adult children dependent on the sponsor due to disability
To qualify for exemptions, the sponsored person must not be married or in a common-law relationship. Additional dependents to already sponsored persons are also not subject to this cap.
