To qualify for the Québec Experience Program (PEQ) as a graduate, effective November 23, 2024, you need to meet the following conditions:
Completion of Studies in French:
Your program should be 100% completed in French (all courses or credits).
For Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) holders, every course must be conducted in French.
Accepted Programs:
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS): Requires at least 1,800 hours of study.
Combined DVS and Attestation of Vocational Specialization (AVS): Should total a minimum of 1,800 hours of continuous education toward a specific trade.
Counting International Studies:
Courses completed abroad (e.g., as part of an exchange) contribute toward the French requirement.
Alternate French Study Requirement:
If your program wasn’t completed in French, you must have completed three years of full-time secondary or post-secondary education in French, either in Québec or abroad
