Starting in 2025, Canada’s Francophone Community Immigration Class (FCIC) will allow French-speaking newcomers to settle permanently in designated communities outside Quebec. This five-year program aims to strengthen Francophone communities and address labor shortages.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Job Offer: Full-time offer from a designated employer.
- Work Experience: Relevant experience, with exemptions for some international graduates.
- French Proficiency: NCLC level 5 or higher.
- Education: At least a high school diploma.
- Funds: Financial proof equal to half the Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO).
- Community Commitment: Must intend to live in the designated community.
