Between June 5 and 19, 2025, Alberta conducted five separate draws through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), inviting candidates with relevant experience in priority sectors such as healthcare, construction, and technology.
Three draws were aligned with Express Entry, while others targeted tourism, hospitality, and healthcare occupations. Cut-off scores ranged from 51 to 73.
Note: These are not CRS scores. Alberta uses its own 100-point selection grid for AAIP, and scores above 70 are generally considered strong. However, candidates with lower scores may still be invited if they meet urgent labour needs.
So far in 2025, Alberta has issued 2,535 of its 4,875 available nominations, with 2,340 remaining. The program continues to prioritize candidates with the skills to meet Alberta’s labour market needs.
