Prince Edward Island (PEI) has held its second-largest immigration draw of the year, inviting 160 candidates through its Labour Impact and Express Entry streams on October 17, 2025.
The province targeted candidates already living and working in PEI in key high-demand sectors, as well as international graduates from the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), Holland College, and Collège de l’Île.
With this round, PEI has now issued a total of 1,081 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) so far in 2025, across ten selection rounds.
Due to limited nomination spaces and a high number of applications, the province continues to prioritize workers in healthcare, trades, and manufacturing, while those in sales and service roles are currently less likely to receive invitations.
