British Columbia Recent Provincial Draw

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program invited 326 skilled workers and graduates to apply for a provincial nomination in the latest draw that took place on April 4.

In this round of invitations, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued invitations to candidates through its skilled immigration and Express Entry.
Across all categories, candidates in this draw were invited at lower scores than the previous draw on March 21.
Candidates who are invited under the Express Entry BC may receive 600 additional points under the pointing system once their provincial nomination application is deemed successful. This means they may be in a better position to receive an invitation to Apply at a later federal Express Entry draw.
Candidates invited through the Skills Immigration categories will have their applications for permanent residence processed outside the Express Entry system after they receive a nomination from BC.
For individuals interested in immigrating to Canada through the BC PNP, it is important to begin the process by creating an online profile with the BC PNP and complete all sections of the registration form. Once a profile assessed, applicants receive a score based on civil status, education, work experience, and other factors. They are then entered into BC PNP selection pool.

BC PNP candidates must have an indeterminate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province to become eligible for the majority of Canadian immigration categories managed by the BC PNP.
It is important to note that an invitation to apply to the BC PNP is not the same as a federal government Invitation to Apply or ITA.
