Canada held a new Express Entry draw on April 13, 2026, inviting 324 candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program.
To receive an invitation, candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 786 and had to submit their Express Entry profile before November 19, 2025.
This was a PNP-specific draw and continues a clear 2026 pattern. Canada has been regularly inviting candidates with provincial nominations, along with Canadian Experience Class candidates and targeted groups such as French speakers, trades workers, healthcare workers, physicians, and senior managers with Canadian work experience.
So far in 2026, PNP draws have been the most frequent. Across all draw types this year, 59,154 invitations have been issued, including 3,263 through PNP-only rounds.
This shows a continued focus on candidates with provincial nominations and those already connected to Canada’s labour market.
