British Columbia will launch a limited-time pathway under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program for healthcare support workers.
The program targets cleaners and security staff already working for health authorities in rural or remote areas. These roles are not usually included in PR pathways.
Up to 250 nominations will be issued, making it competitive.
The pathway is expected to open in June 2026 through an expression of interest system. More details are pending.
This aligns with BC’s focus on healthcare and increasing nominations outside major cities like Vancouver.
