March 14 Express Entry draw issues 3,000 invitations

A total of 3,000 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 456 were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the fifth Express Entry draw of 2018, which took place on March 14.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) once again used the tie break procedure for this draw. This rule ranks candidates in the Express Entry pool who have the required cut-off score by the date and time that they submitted their profiles. The tie-break rule gives priority to profiles that have been in the Express Entry pool longer. The date and time for the latest draw 'tie-break' was March 3, 2018, at 02:12:11 UTC.
The latest draw was not limited to any specific program managed under the Express Entry system.
