Most Attractive Canadian Cities for Newcomers

A new study says that Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, Waterloo, Richmond Hill and St. John’s are the most attractive cities to live in for newcomers.

The study measured city attractiveness based on seven categories, including society, health, economy, environment, education, innovation and housing. Here is how the top cities performed:

• Waterloo ranked first in education, second in innovation, and third in economy.
• Calgary ranked first in both economy and innovation.
• Ottawa measured high in society, education, innovation and economy.
• Richmond Hill ranked high in education, innovation and society.
• Vancouver ranked high in society, education and environment.
• St. John’s measured high in economy and health.
