Saskatchewan has opened its Express Entry category for Canadian immigration under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This category allows the SINP to appoint individuals who are the educated, have skilled work experience, have the language ability and other reasons to assist them in successfully establishing into Saskatchewan’s labour market.

Successful applicants, who have obtained minimum 600 points through Comprehensive Ranking System, will receive invitation letter to submit their application.

Applicants who have a family member or close relative in the province of Saskatchewan, successfully completed post secondary education, and have one year work experience in the past 5 years, will be awarded 60 points and receive an invitation letter to submit their permanent residency application request. Successful applicant will receive their permanent resident visa within 6 months.

It is also noticeable that having a family member, who is a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, is a huge advantage for the applicants who want to send an application under SINP, since they will receive 20 points for their family member of close relative. Family members includes: parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin and step-family members or in-laws of the same relationships.

This program cap is only 750 applicants. If your occupation is listed below, you have minimum 1 year work experience in the past 5 years or 3 in the past 10 years, and you have a family member or close relative in this province you will be eligible to apply under this program and you are on priority list.
