Twelfth Express Entry Draw – Decrease in CRS Points Required Continues

For the twelfth time Express Entry draw from the pool was made on July 11th 2015, during which Citizenship and Immigration Canada issued a total number of 1516 invitations to successful candidates who had acquired minimum 463 CRS points.

This draw has been reported to be the third consecutive one in which the number of CRS points required has been lowered. During the 12th draw invitations to apply for Permanent Residency visa has been issued to candidates who have been waiting in the pool for a while; and most of these candidates have made efforts to obtain higher point in ranking system. Some have been taking language tests again to gain better scores while others have submitted additional work experience proofs.

Since number of CRS points required to receive an invitation from CIC on twelfth draw has been decreased for the third time, it has been noticed as a positive growth for candidates in the pool who have not received an invitation yet. On the other hand, the number of Canadian provinces which have started their provincial nominee programs under Express Entry stream is also increasing which provides more options and opportunities to candidates. The provinces of Ontario, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick have recently opened their PNP streams.
