Applicants who are applying under the Express Entry program need to enter a completion pool and not only there is no guarantee to be selected but also the applicant has no control over the selection.

Obtaining human Capital points and profession in each of 5 selection factors is more difficult for many foreigners from outside Canada rather than foreigners inside Canada who have accumulated Canadian work experience. In order to be able to create profile and enter in the completion to be selected by a province or an employer need to be under 29 years old , have sufficient language proficiency, years of work experience and education . Young educated applicants cannot accumulate maximum work experience points or any points on work experience inside Canada .

Current Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, was the leader of the Liberal Party critic in previous house of common focusing on immigration policies of earlier immigration minister of the conservative government .

He had stated his objections on the express entry selection policies in the house of common reputedly discussing the weaknesses of the program efficiency . There is a hope that the Prime Minister will introduce numerous changes to the program .

He is planning to apply forces on faster processing for old application in queue and apply changes in selection system . The future possible changes in the program is to assign high points for those applicants who have relatives in Canada who are permanent resident or Citizen . Assigning more points for accompanying spouse . Right now educated accompanying spouse with language proficiency and work experience cannot receive many points .

It seems in near future the minimum selection points will decrease and this will create hope for those applicants with lower accumulated points against the eligibility criteria.
