  • 142 Candidates Invited for Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Program

    Saskatchewan has conducted the largest ever draw for the Entrepreneur stream of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), with 142 international entrepreneurs having been invited to apply to the program following the May 24, 2017 draw. Another new record was set in this draw, as the points threshold required for a candidate to be invited to apply reached its lowest ever cut-off point of 80.

  • 2 Last Draws of Manitoba Skilled Worker Immigration Program

    There was a flurry of activity in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) over the final days of 2016, with two draws for its Skilled Worker immigration stream taking place on December 21 and December 30. In total, 316 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to eligible candidates who had previously made a formal 'Expression of Interest' in immigrating to the province. These individuals may now submit an application for a provincial nomination certificate. With this certificate, the individual, as well as his or her accompanying family members, may then apply for Canadian permanent residence.

    The Government of Canada held its largest Express Entry draw of 2018 on September 5, issuing 3,900 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
    This is the fourth all-program draw in 2018 with a minimum score of 440, which is the lowest (CRS) score drawn in 2018 to date.

In a news update, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) said the invitations were issued to qualified registrants who had a job offer in one of its, Technology Pilot program's 32 key technology occupations.
