The list of Newfoundland and Labrador employers taking part in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program has been made public, and the provincial government is encouraging foreign nationals to get in touch with them.
The province of Manitoba held its third Expression of Interest draw in less than three weeks on March 1, inviting 403 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. The invitations brought the number issued so far this year by the province MPNP program to 2,267 issued invitations. Manitoba issued a record 5,207 nominations for Canadian permanent residence in 2018, with 98 per cent going to skilled worker candidates.
Median hourly wages in all provinces and territories (except for Nunavut) will increase after May 31st.
