    The province of Quebec is considering public consultation by the end of January prior to apply any changes to its immigration policies.

  • Quebec increased budget for immigration plans

    Kathleen Weil, Quebec immigration minister, announced the granting of additional 4 million loans in 2016-2017, to increase and expand the offer of services in French language to immigrants, and $ 700,000 for measures to promote the withholding of international students in Quebec. These additional funds are part of an investment of $ 18.4 million for the next five years to encourage the rapid integration of immigrants in the labor market and Quebec civilization.

  • Quebec Investor Program

    Although it has not officially announced but rumor has it that the Investor program of Quebec province will reopen and accept limited applications as of August 01.2013. Due to the fact that the program has been closed for more than a year therefore the reopening is eagerly anticipated.   • Quebec is backing up from increase Immigration Levels to 60,000

    The suggestion (Law 77) came into effect April 16, 2016. The new system aims to respond better to Quebec's ongoing labour market needs by adopting an Expression of Interest (EOI) model; the government can assemble a bank of candidates best suited to Quebec’s needs.   • Quebec Last application Intake for 2016 Limited Cap is set for August 16th

    From August 16-22, 2016, the Ministère will receive 5,000 selection certificate applications under the Regular Skilled Worker Program. Starting at 8:30 a.m. (Montréal time), applicants who wish to access Mon projet Québec will be automatically directed to a virtual waiting room that will allow them to keep their place in line. Their position in line and the number of people waiting ahead of them will be displayed on screen.

  • Quebec reopens all three investment programs to the qualified applicants

    Quebec Investor Program

    Participants can obtain permanent residence through passive investment of $1.2 million
    The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program will reopen September 10 for a total of 1,900 applications.

  • Quebec reopens its business programs to qualified candidates

    Quebec has announced the opening of all three provincial business programs with limited cap. The Quebec investor program 1900 cap which will be open on May 30th whereas the Entrepreneur and Self-Employed categories are reopening with immediate effect, though for only 50 applications each.

  • Quebec to re-launches QSW in 2015

    Quebec Immigration has lowered the pass mark for the skilled worker program. This program which is set to open on or before October 1st 2015, and the province plans to receive 6300 new applications during the 2015-2016. There are 75 eligible occupations and area of training that will enable applicants to qualify for a Quebec Certificate of Selection (CSQ), without a job offer. Many applicants can qualify with minimal knowledge of French.
