British Columbia held its weekly Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on October 27.

27 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were issued to skilled workers and international graduates in the latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) tech pilot draw, which took place on July 18. The invitations were issued to candidates who meet the Tech pilot eligibility requirements, which were updated recently with list of key technology sector occupations and job offer requirements for candidates in these occupations. For these candidates, a full-time job offer of at least one year (365 days) is required among other criteria.

On January 2 , BC issued invitation to apply to Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates.

The Government of British Columbia continues to invite workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs at low points thresholds in the most recent draws conducted on November 22 and November 29.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program invited 323 candidates under Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams in the latest draw, which took place August 22. Candidates who receive a nomination under the Express Entry BC Skilled worker and international graduates categories will receive an additional 600 points toward their CRS score.

British Columbia's Tech pilot project, which was set to run until the end of June, has been extended indefinitely, the province has announced.

The Canadian province of British Columbia (B.C.) has announced that is implementing a new Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) similar to the Express entry program which is designed for the province needs. The government of B.C. stated that SIRS is aligned with British Columbia's labour market and economic development priorities.
