Median hourly wages in all provinces and territories (except for Nunavut) will increase after May 31st.
This change was planned earlier this year and took effect on October 1, 2023.

The Atlantic Canada province of Prince Edward Island has issued new invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to candidates in its Express Entry, Labour Impact and Business Impact categories. A total of 75 invitations were issued to candidates in the Express Entry and labor impact categories and 50 invitations were issued through the business Impact Category in the latest invitation round, which was held on July 19.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 535 candidates from the Masters Graduate Stream. Candidates required a score of 35 and above.
Three provinces have issued ITAs under Provincial Nominee Programs.
The province invited a total of 153 candidates in the Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact categories on February 20.
The province of Prince Edward Island has invited 199 economic immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in a draw held February 21.
A total of 127 invitations were under the Labour and Express Entry streams. Nine invitations were issued under PEI’s business impact and work permit stream with a minimum point threshold of 65. The total number of invitations for this draw is less than the most recent draw on May 20, when 153 invitations were issued.
