Canada has invited 3,350 Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence in a new draw held April 17th. The cut-off score in today’s draw was 451.
New statistics released by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reveal that Express Entry candidates without a Canadian job offer have been the big beneficiaries of targeted improvements to the way candidates are ranked. According to IRCC, 90 percent of Express Entry candidates who received an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the first half of 2017 did not have a Canadian job offer.
