The creation of a dedicated Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program stream for technology workers responds to “immediate labour needs” that have to be filled, the Ontario government says.
According to the government’s new budget four major updates including the new tech worker stream, which was introduced as a pilot program to bring highly skilled immigrants to smaller communities, revisions on the eligibility criteria for the Ontario Entrepreneur and the employer job offer: In demand occupations have gone through a major changes.
According to the Ontario Imigration “changes will make it easier for skilled workers — from tech workers to truckers — to come to Ontario, contribute to our economy, and build better lives.”
