Another disappointment for Quebec skilled worker applicant.
On April first Quebec immigration on line application submission system was opened to all applicants for submission, many were able to submit their application and receive their file number. On April 3, 2018 Quebec issued an announcment that the system was opening was due to the online technical issues, following the technical problem with Mon projet Québec, the Ministère received applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec even though the intake period has not yet been determined. Since these applications are not receivable, the Ministère must return them and reimburse payment, if applicable. The Ministère regrets the situation and apologizes for any inconveniences it may have caused.
New intake date will be announced by Aug.15,2018 in the meantime Quebec still will receive applications under the Quebec skilled worker programs on some conditions:
Valid applications
Please note that valid applications are those that are submitted by candidates who have an employment offer that has been validated by the Ministère or who are temporary residents of Québec and authorized to submit an application for a Certificat de selection du Québec.
Intake period
The intake rules for the 2017-2018 Regular Skilled Worker Program have been maintained and extended until August 15, 2018. Consequently, under this program, the Ministère can receive up to a maximum of 5,000 applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec by August 15, 2018.
The Ministère will announce in advance, on its Internet site, the opening of all application intake periods.

It is recommended to those applicants who are interested to apply under Quebec skilled worker program to complete their profile as soon as possible as the system might be closed a few days prior to opening date .
