    As of September 21, 2015Saskatchewan has announced that will receive 1000 more applications from international skilled workers who are interested to live in the province if they have one of the 57 occupations in demands without job offer.

  • On November 13,2015 Citizenship and immigration Canada announced the result of its 20th draw for Canadian immigration through the express Entry program . A total of 1,506 invitation to apply ( ITA) were issued to candidates with 484 or more comprehensive Ranking Points (CRS) points.

  • International students hoping to remain in Canada on a Post-Graduation Work Permit now have six months to apply once they obtain their notice of graduation and are no longer required to have a valid study permit.  

  • MoneySense's annual ranking of the best cities and towns for new immigrants to Canada has been updated for 2016, with various destinations across the country vying to be crowned number one. The ranking system looks at employment rates, rental costs and existing immigrant populations in communities across Canada.

  • A total of new 5,000 applications for immigration to Quebec, Canada were successfully submitted to the government of Quebec the morning of Tuesday, August 16. These applications were made under the Quebec Skilled worker program which has now reached its intake cap.

  • April 20th - 2016 - Canadian Immigration authorities conducted the 9th round of invitations under Express Entry in 2016 and 32nd overall, inviting 1018 applicants for permanent residence. It was the twenty-third successive draw under the Express Entry System where the lowest CRS score was under 500.

  • 2016 list of eligible occupations for simplified treatment is established by Emploi-Québec in collaboration with the Quebec immigration Ministry according to the National Occupational Classification 2006. All occupations are considered to be high-paying positions.

  • Quebec plans to implement an online 'virtual waiting room' in time for the approaching application intake period for the Quebec skilled worker , which is scheduled to begin June 13, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. EST (Montréal time).

  • Newly، elected Prime Minister,of Canada , Justin Trudeau, proposed liberal reforms to Canada's immigration system with a support of 500,000,ooo dollars increase in budget for these changes.

  • Quebec Entrepreneur program is one of the Quebec three business programs. As of April first, 2016 the immigration program was reopened with a limited cap of 50 applications. The next intake will start April 01, 2017.

  • The 22nd draw for Canadian immigration through the Express Entry has been performed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on December 4, 2015. A total of 1,451 invitation to apply ( ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence were issued to candidates with 461 or more (CRS) points.

  • The latest draw from the Express Entry pool has seen a total of 1,484 candidates being issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence. The 28th draw took place on February 24, 2016, and each candidate who received an ITA had 453 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. This latest draw is good news to prospective applicants, as it marks the second time this year that the CRS point requirement has been as low as 453.

  • In Edmonton an Iranian is serving jail time due to conviction of terrorism activities against Canada . Based on the new citizenship act and regulations he could be subject to losing his citizenship . According to him, Cruel and unfair citizenship law can create dabble punishments since in addition to the criminal punishment the convicted person can lose his or her citizenship . This will result the defendant's personal security, his family and will be adversely affected by the decision .

  • British Columbia nominated 3,100 candidates in the federal Express Entry system for Canadian permanent residence in 2018 through its provincial nominee program, the BC PNP.

  • Alberta will soon reopen its doors to applicants who wish to settle in one of Canada’s most beautiful and vibrant provinces. The province will begin accepting new applications from January 27, 2016.

  • Last week, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a major announcement concerning expected changes to several immigration regulations. The changes, published in the Forward Regulatory Plan 2016—2018, outline anticipated reviews to existing conditions of various immigration programs.

  • April 2 2015 – Government of British Columbia announces a 90-day hold on major part of its new applications of Canadian Immigration under Provincial Nominee Program. This program will re-open as of July 1st 2015 and all new applications, as of March 31 2015, will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • More than 91,000 immigration candidates have submitted expressions of interest through Quebec’s online Arrima portal since it opened last September — a six-month period dominated by the rise of the province’s new Coalition Avenir Québec government.
