  • Long Wait Times for processing study permits in Alberta

    EDMONTON - International students in Alberta are seeing wait times for processing their study permits soar to nearly three months, leaving many “stranded” in Canada, unable to visit their home countries or travel elsewhere in the world. Students can’t leave the country without renewing their permits and visas without risking lengthy delays upon re-entry, jeopardizing their standing in university programs where many have studied for several years.

  • Updated Process for International students working On-campus

    Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated the process for international students who are applying for a Social Insurance Number (SIN) to work on-campus. As of February 10, 2017, international students no longer need an employment contract to apply for a SIN.

  • اخطار اداره مهاجرت به دانشجویان بین المللی در رابطه با افراد سودجو

    وزیر مهاجرت کانادا به دانشجویان خارجی در شهرهای اتاوا و لندن استان انتاریو در رابطه با افراد سودجو اخطار داد. اداره مهاجرت، پناهندگی و شهروندی کانادا (IRCC) اعلام کرد تعدادی از دانشجویان در شهرهای مذکور و شهرهای دیگر کانادا گزارش داده اند که از افراد ناشناس تماس های تلفنی دریافت نموده اند، مبنی بر اینکه شخص تماس گیرنده خود را افسر مهاجرت خطاب واعلام نموده که مورد بررسی مهاجرتی قرار گرفته اند و یا متهم به جرم در کشور خود هستند. در این مکالمات تلفنی از دانشجویان اطلاعات مالیشان را می گیرند و آنها را مجبور به ارسال پول، کارت هدیه یا اعتباری در ازای جلوگیری از اخراج آنها از کشور کانادا می کنند.

  • استان انتاریو برنامه فارق التحصیلان کارشناسی ارشد را بازگشایی کرد

    برنامه منتخبین استانی استان انتاریو، قبل از اتمام سر رسید ثبت نام، تعداد667 ثبت نام جدید را پذیرفت.

  • استان انتاریو برنامه محبوب فارغ التحصیلان بین المللی را بازگشایی نمود

    در حال حاضر برنامه مربوط به فارغ التحصیلان فوق لیسانس بسته می باشد و فقط فارغ التحصیلان دکترا می توانند برای این برنامه اقدام نمایند. استان انتاریو برنامه مربوط به فارغ التحصیلان فوق لیسانس و دکترا را در 29 ژانویه بازگشایی نمود.

    برنامه فارغ التحصیلان فوق لیسانس و دکترا، دو زیر برنامه از برنامه های انتخابی استان انتاریو (OINP) هستند. متقاضیان نیاز به داشتن پیشنهاد شغلی برای درخواست از طریق این برنامه های مهاجرتی ندارد و این برنامه ها صرفا با هدف جذب دانشجویان خارجی که در استان انتاریو تحصیل می کنند، طراحی شده است.

  • استان بریتیش کلمبیا برای 364 نفر از متخصصین و فارغ التحصیلان دعوتنامه صادر کرده است.

    در تاریخ 10 ماه می 2017، برنامه انتخابی استان بریتیش کلمبیا تعداد 364 دعوتنامه برای متخصصین و فارغ التحصیلان جهت درخواست گواهینامه پذیرش استان صادر کرد. این تعداد نشاندهنده افزایش 77 درصدی نسبت به دوره قبل در تاریخ 19 اپریل، در تعداد دعوتنامه های صادر شده تحت 5 زیرگروه سیستم پذیرش متخصصین مهاجر می باشد. این افراد با دریافت دعوتنامه می توانند نسبت به ارسال مدارک جهت اخذ اقامت دائم کانادا اقدام نمایند.
