IRCC has issued invitations to apply for the second time during August for Canadian Experience class applicants.

In the latest draw on September 19, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.

The Immigration department invited 5,000 candidates in a Canadian Expereince Class (CEC)- only draw in the last day of July 2024 with minimum CRS of 510.

On January 18th, the Alberta added having relatives in the province to the province selection criteria.

Alberta invites 120 Express Entry candidates and BC targets tech occupations. 

Starting today, Alberta has implemented a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system for worker streams under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). Applicants must now complete a Worker EOI form through the AAIP portal, providing details like education, language proficiency, and work experience in Alberta.

The newly released Express Entry Year-End report for 2023 reveals a significant increase in the number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) distributed 110,266 ITAs across 42 draws in 2023, marking a 136% rise from 2022’s 46,539 ITAs.

At first glance, it may seem a relatively simple task to predict future CRS scores based on previous cut-offs. As draws, increase and time elapses, the CRS cut-offs continues to drop. However, the situation is more complex in reality.

IRCC says immigration law does not prohibit multiple applications, but there will be no refund of processing fees paid.
